Joshua Smith

Josh is an assistant in the Conveyancing team.

1 What is your role at The Head Partnership?

I am a legal assistant and started by helping out with administrative and reception work and undertaking legal research for the partners, but I am now part of the Conveyancing team.

2 What do you like about The Head Partnership?

The Head Partnership has a lovely working environment.  Everyone in the office works hard but are also willing to give up their time to talk to you and to help you when you need it.

3 What gives you the most satisfaction about your job?

Meeting people every day and dealing with clients’ initial enquiries, directing them to the fee earners in the firm who can give them the best legal advice.

4 Tell us something we don’t know

I am a drummer at my local church.

5 Which colleague would you like to trade places with for a day?

I would have to be Angela because she has been here from the start and has watched the firm develop and is very knowledgeable.  I think to be in her mind would be very interesting, watching her crunch the numbers away!

6 Where in the world would you most like to visit and why?

I think somewhere in Scandinavia in the summer to experience the Midnight Sun.  I think that would be a really strange phenomenon to experience and also the Northern Lights.

7 What is your guiltiest pleasure?

It has to be Barbados ‘Mount Gay’ rum.  It is very nice indeed!

8 Who is the one person in history you would like to meet?

I think it would be great to meet Martin Luther King.  He was and still is an inspiration to me, and had a huge impact on civil rights and equality.

9 Describe yourself in three words

Talkative, funny and polite
