After the success of the firm's participation in the BigWig challenge last year, when the firm raised monies for the Sue Ryder Nettlebed hospice, the firm is in fundraising mode again and will this year be raising money for two charities.
Babies in Buscot Support is run by and for the parents and family of premature and sick newborn babies in the Buscot Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. They are devoted to
- Supporting parents of premature and sick newborn babies
- Raising the awareness of special babies and their needs
- Fundraising for new equipment for Buscot Special Care Baby Unit
Headway, which has a local office in Henley on Thames, gives help and support to people affected by brain injury through a wide range of services, including rehabilitation programmes, carer support, social re-integration, community outreach and respite care.
